Course Description: Welcome to Tiny Chefs: Desserts & Appetizers Adventure, the perfect culinary camp for budding chefs aged 5 to 9! Join us for a magical week where culinary dreams come to life. This unique camp experience will have young chefs exploring the sweeter side of the kitchen with delicious desserts and diving into the delightful world of appetizers.

Course Highlights:

  • Sweet Treats: Learn the secrets to baking mouthwatering cookies, cupcakes, and more.
  • Appetizer Artistry: Whip up fun and tasty appetizers that are perfect for any party.
  • Ice Cream Workshop: Enjoy making and flavoring your own ice cream— a cool treat for hot days!
  • Culinary Creativity: Decorate and plate dishes in a way that will dazzle the eyes as well as the taste buds.
  • Fun with Food: Participate in engaging food-themed games and challenges that enhance teamwork and culinary skills.
  • Safety First: Gain confidence in the kitchen with lessons on safe cooking practices, proper tool use, and hygiene.

Daily Activities:

  • Monday: Introduction to Baking – Basics of making a simple dessert and appetizer from the United States
  • Tuesday: Appetizing Starters – Create a range of bite-sized appetizers.
  • Wednesday: Ice Cream Day – Make ice cream from scratch and experiment with flavors.
  • Thursday: Decoration and Presentation – Learn the art of food styling and presentation.
  • Friday: Recipe Roundup and Cook-off – Review the week's recipes and engage in a show and tell of their favorite Dessert and appetizer from a country of their choice.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Develop basic baking and cooking skills appropriate for young children.
