International Food Truck Adventure Camp

Age Range: 5 - 9 Years Old

Course Description: Embark on a scrumptious expedition with the Junior International Food Truck Adventure Camp! Designed specifically for young food enthusiasts aged 5 to 9, this camp offers a fun and interactive way to explore the diverse flavors of Mexico, Greece, Italy, and the United States. Campers will discover a new world of tastes and traditions without ever leaving town.

Course Highlights:

  • Global Gastronomic Tour: Each day, our Tiny Tasters will embark on a culinary adventure, sampling and learning about the foods and cultures of four vibrant countries. From Mexican tacos to Greek gyros, Italian pasta, and American gourmet burgers, each session is a feast for the senses.
  • Food Truck Immersion: Step into the role of a food truck chef! Learn from expert operators as they share their cooking secrets and passion for international cuisine.
  • Hands-On Cooking: Cooking is a hands-on affair at our camp! Young chefs will actively participate in making dishes, gaining essential skills like measuring, mixing, and safe cooking techniques.
  • Cultural Exploration: It’s not just about food—it’s about the whole cultural experience. Through crafts, storytelling, and music, campers will dive deeper into each culture, picking up phrases in different languages and understanding global traditions.
  • Taste Testing and Judging: Our young campers will hone their taste buds through fun tasting competitions, learning to appreciate and critique a variety of flavors.

Daily Itinerary:

  • Monday: Discovering Mexico – Dive into the world of tacos and Mexican flavors.
  • Tuesday: Exploring Greece – Create delicious gyros and learn about Mediterranean customs.
  • Wednesday: A Taste of Italy – Handcraft pasta and immerse in Italian culinary arts.
  • Thursday: American Classics – Prepare gourmet burgers and explore diverse U.S. food traditions.
  • Friday: International Food Festival – Showcase newly acquired cooking skills in a celebration of international cuisines.
